Professional liability insurance
According to the BRAO (Federal Lawyers' Act), lawyers are obliged to take out a professional liability insurance contract with a minimum amount insured of 250,000 Euro. Details can be found in § 51 BRAO (Federal Lawyers' Act).
Our advocates maintain a professional liability insurance contract meeting these requirements with Allianz Versicherungs-Aktiengesellschaft, Königinstraße 28, 80802 München.
The partnership is obliged to maintain liability insurance with a minimum sum insured of EUR 1,000,000. Details can be found in § 59o BRAO.

The geographical scope of the insurance cover includes activities in the entire EU territory and the states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and thus fulfils at least the requirements of Section 59n BRAO.
